Roll cradles can also more than triple cubic space utilization, depending on the products’ diameters. This is because roll cradles enable cylindrical products to be stacked in a cube formation, so more rolls can be stacked per pallet.

Roll cradles also enable the stacking of pallets, providing freight and space savings. The use of roll cradles can offer savings on packaging material usage over pyramid stacking, too, because there is no need to band each individual roll to hold it in place on the pallet.
