| Using roll cradles can offer many advantages when compared to vertical packaging methods, in which rolls are stacked on their ends on pallets with corrugated slip sheets for edge protection and stretch wrap for unitization.
Because the horizontal stacking method inherent in roll cradles enables pallets to be stacked, shippers can often fit more rolls in a truck or warehouse, especially any time web widths exceed 30 inches. |
