Great Northern Corporation does not participate in or tolerate any form of slavery or human trafficking and complies with the laws regarding human trafficking and slavery in the countries in which it does business. We conduct business by the principles of our core values and compliance with applicable laws. Our core values are the foundation of our culture and we expect our suppliers, contractors and employees to follow them. One of our core values is, “do what is right, not what is merely convenient.” Human trafficking and slavery are not right and violate our core values.

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 requires a disclosure of the efforts manufacturers and retailers have taken to ensure upstream supplier compliance with the law.

We do not currently perform verifications of our raw material suppliers to evaluate and address the risks of human trafficking and slavery, but reserve the right to do so in the future.

While we have company standards against trafficking and slavery in our supply chain, we do not currently audit our suppliers’ compliance with those standards, but reserve the right to do so in the future.

We expect our suppliers to comply with our core values, which includes complying with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking in the countries in which they do business, but do not currently require our suppliers to certify their compliance. We reserve the right to do so in the future.

We do not have specific internal procedures for determining whether employees or suppliers are complying with our core values. However, we will take appropriate action should an employee, supplier or contractor fail to follow our core values and comply with applicable laws regarding those relating to human trafficking and slavery.

We make every reasonable effort to keep the appropriate employees knowledgeable about these compliance concerns but do not currently provide specific training on human trafficking and slavery.
